The designs of skins for CS2 are very diverse – to see this, just browse the Lis-Skins.ru catalog. Some skinmakers invent geometric patterns with unusual optical effects, others give the weapons a futuristic look, while others turn to images of monsters from ancient myths. We offer a selection of bright skins inspired by famous mythical figures. Most of them were added to the «Gods and Monsters» collection, but not limited to it.
AWP Medusa
AWP Medusa is named after the Gorgon Medusa, whose gaze turned heroes to stone. The intertwining serpents, which were in place of her hair, cover much of the rifle's body. The dark blue-green tones and the directed gaze of the Gorgon make this skin truly stylish.
M4A1-S Basilisk
However, Medusa the Gorgon is not the only creature capable of turning an opponent to stone. Similar legends were told in ancient times about the Basilisk, depicted on the M4A1-S Basilisk. It was imagined as a poisonous snake that kills with a single glance. A fitting design for a weapon that strikes silently and from a distance.
Zeus x27 Olympus
Speaking of mythological skins in CS2, one cannot overlook a skin for a taser from one of the recent collections. Zeus x27 Olympus is named after the thunder god Zeus – hardly a more suitable name could be found for this type of weapon. The name also mentions Mount Olympus, where, according to ancient Greek beliefs, the gods resided.
UMP-45 Minotaur's Labyrinth
Inspirations for skin creators were not only images of gods and monsters, but entire mythological stories. The body of UMP-45 Minotaur's Labyrinth is covered with a geometric pattern, in which the walls of a huge labyrinth can be discerned, where a monster awaits travelers. This skin may appeal to those who can instantly navigate any map.
M4A1-S Icarus Fell
The design of M4A1-S Icarus Fell reminds us of another dark mythological story – the fall of Icarus, who lost his wings because he flew too high to the sun. This story is hinted at by the feather pattern in the central part of the body. The entire design is executed in shades of blue and turquoise on a black background, making this skin appealing to those who prefer less vivid colors.
G3SG1 Chronos
G3SG1 Chronos is dedicated to Chronos, who was considered the patron of time. This skin is also predominantly blue, but with yellow and orange accents added. The pattern covering most of the body depicts details of a clock mechanism.
M4A4 Poseidon
M4A4 Poseidon is named after the ancient Greek deity – the patron of seas and oceans. His usual weapon was a trident, with which he is depicted in this design. The picture is complemented by toothy deep-sea creatures ready to attack the enemy on Poseidon's command.
Tec-9 Hades
Tec-9 Hades is named after Hades – the lord of the underworld. As the float increases, the image not only becomes more worn but also acquires new details. If the skin in "Factory New" condition is decorated with images of warrior helmets, then in the "Battle-Scarred" variant, skulls appear in their place.
Galil AR Cerberus
Following "Hades", it makes sense to mention another skin that continues the same theme. On the Galil AR Cerberus is depicted the three-headed dog Cerberus, who guarded the entrance to the underworld, preventing the spirits of the dead from leaving. The gaping toothy mouths on a bright yellow-green background make this skin instantly recognizable even from a distance.
FAMAS Eye of Athena
Athena was considered a formidable goddess, patron of wisdom and war, so it is not surprising that a place was found for her image among skins for CS2. "Eye of Athena" is adorned with the image of an owl, one eye of which resembles either a complex mechanism or a precious stone. The pattern covers the entire surface of the skin and has many small details, making this skin well worth acquiring in good quality.
